Star Wars FAQ for Beginners.

(These are some of the questions that came up when I wanted to know a little more about StarWars)

Who is the creator Star Wars?

The original idea is from George Lucas, when writing the script for the first film "A New Hope"

Is Star Wars an adaptation of a book?

No, it is based on the scripts made by G.Lucas

Why does StarWars start in Episode IV and not Episode I?

_ Because Lucas wanted it that way originally; for the viewer to see the saga starting from "the middle"

In what order should the movies be viewed and how many movies and content are there?

We discuss it in this section of the web (Link)

Why is Leia a princess?

The title comes from his family on Alderaan thanks to Bail Organa, a prince consort and also thanks to his wife, Queen Breha Organa.

What military rank does Dart Vader hold compared to Admiral Tarkin?

I would say they are of the same rank, Vader is the "Emperor's Successor and Apprentice" and Tarkin is the Grand Moff, the highest ranking title in the imperial military machine.

Why are there no railings on the Death Star to prevent falls?

The Death Star was initially designed by the Geonosians. These beings have wings, therefore, they had no need to install safety rails, because if they accidentally fell, they could simply fly back to the platform from which they fell. Unfortunately, they did not take into account that the Death Star was going to be used by humans ... who cannot fly.

What is the Expanded Universe?

We call the Expanded Universe, for short: (EU), all Star Wars material other than cinema films. This therefore includes books and comics, video games and role-playing games, TV series and films outside the series, etc. The expanded universe expands the story of Star Wars by exploring different eras and characters. Before an author wants to write about it, they must have received the consent of George Lucas.

What was G.Lucas inspired by?

_Mainly was inspired by the FlashGordon comics, in the book "The hero with a thousand faces" By Joseph Campbell, in the director Akira Kurosawa, also in the archetypes of Carl G. Jung (Among many others).
